Circle of Security Parenting Programme

As caregivers we all at times feel lost or without a clue about what our young child might need from us. Imagine what it might feel like if you were able to make sense of what your child was really asking from you. The COS-P programme is based on decades of research about how secure caregiver-child relationships can be supported and strengthened. COS-P encourages building healthy attachment relationships, understanding the needs of young children, and helping parents to reflect on their own struggles with parenting, as well as looking at their experiences of being parented. The programme focuses on: understanding your child’s emotional world by learning to read their emotional needs; supporting your child’s ability to successfully manage emotions; enhancing the development of your child's self-esteem; honouring your innate wisdom and desire for your child to be secure.
