About

Do you find working with children and adolescents challenging? Do you want to develop and expand your practice?

Children and Adolescents today are facing a complex and challenging social, emotional and changing world. There is a great need for clinicians to think about these complexities in supporting the mental health of young people.

Mary-Anne Tandy is offering clinicians working with children and adolescents an opportunity to re-visit key principles, new developments, and current challenges when working with children of all ages and their parents.

Mary-Anne Tandy trained at the Tavistock Clinic (UK) as a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist. She worked for the NHS Child and Family Centre in Hackney as part of a multi-disciplinary team. She is a qualified Child and Adult Analyst (IPA) and Parenting Practitioner. She is particularly interested in Technique. She has recently moved to Cape Town where she works in private practice and as a clinical supervisor at Ububele.

The first session is offered in-person at Ububele offices, 1 10th Road, Kew, Johannesburg. The other 4 are offered online.
