This 2-day training equips trained infant mental health practitioners in the core principles of Ububele’s once-off consultation service approach. The principles can be applied to in person and online settings, and forms the foundation for providing the Ububele Baby Mat Service, the Ububele Newborn Hospital Consultation Service and Ububele’s online Vuna support service.
Course Outcomes:
1.Learn the principles, functions and format of once-off infant mental health consultation
2.Practice key techniques for working with infants and families in once-off consultations
3.Learn to support families in navigating diverging knowledge systems in parenting
