COS-P Training
This course is for practitioners providing parenting education, support, or counselling to parents of young children. Participants learn to use the COS-P tools (DVD) to educate caregivers.
The Circle of Security is an internationally acclaimed parenting intervention based on five decades of attachment research. It is focused on helping caregivers reflect upon children’s attachment needs in order to promote secure attachment with a child.
Ububele is privileged to regularly host Scandinavian COSP trainers Ida Brandtzæg and Stig Torsteinson, who provide COS-P training for practitioners in South Africa. These courses are for practitioners who want to use the COS-P programme to provide parenting education, support, and counselling to parents or caregivers of young children. Participants learn to use the COS-P tools (DVD) to educate caregivers.
