Research and Development

Ububele's research division was established in order to research and disseminate information on Ububele’s interventions and trainings with three central goals in mind, namely:
(1) ensuring the efficacy of our interventions and trainings,
(2) sharing our learnings and
(3) establishing ourselves as a world-leaders and experts in effective culturally-, contextually-, and psychoanalytically-informed infant and child mental health theory, intervention and training.

In addition to our focus on investigating our service, the division aims to research and disseminate information on local child development (in context) and avenues for culturally and contextually appropriate assessment of child development and caregiver functioning, with a particular focus on attachment.
